Hedgeford Lodge is a newly-opened pub in the former Anglesey Lodge.

Found in the heart of our town, the Wetherspoons venue offers a wide range of drinks and pub food at reasonable prices.

Also popular are the Samson Blewitt in Pye Green and the Hen House in the centre of town. Another pub available is the Cross Keys Hotel, which dates back to 1746 and was rumoured to have been one of Dick Turpin’s stops on his overnight journey to York.

Cuizine is another great eatery and is in Market Street. The team here offers a tasty selection of Indian, English and Chinese dishes, with teppanyki (where food is cooked fresh to order.)

The Bank offers wine, cocktails and champagne for a relaxing night out. Woody’s bar has live music every Friday and Saturday night.
