New councillor set to make a difference in Hednesford

A new councillor has been welcomed by Hednesford Town Council.

Matthew Davis, 38, has replaced Councillor Linda Whitehouse who stood down earlier this year
Councillor Davis is a mental health case worker with the Citizens Advice Bureau and represents the Labour party.
He has also just completed research into human trafficking as part of an academic study.
He has been welcomed by council chairman, Councillor Alan Pearson, who said it was great to have Councillor Davis on board.
“Matthew lives vey locally and is well connected in the community, he’s very interested in helping people and we look forward to working with him”, he said.
