Hednesford Isn’t Your Bin

Hednesford launches ‘Hednesford Isn’t Your Bin’ campaign to tackle concerns about litter in our Town

Hednesford Town Council is launching its new ‘Hednesford Isn’t Your Bin’ programme, encouraging residents, businesses and visitors to take pride in their town and play their part in keeping Hednesford clean, tidy and welcoming.

The programme aims to raise awareness of the impact of littering on our local environment, community spaces and the appearance of our town, while encouraging everyone to take greater responsibility for their waste.

Whether it’s a discarded drinks can, a takeaway wrapper or a cigarette end, litter can have a lasting impact on the places we live, work and visit. By making small changes to our everyday habits, we can all help make a big difference.

The programme is designed to encourage positive action, promote community pride and remind everyone that Hednesford is our town, not our bin.

Hednesford Town Council is inviting residents, local businesses, shops and community groups to get involved by sharing the campaign message and encouraging others to dispose of their waste responsibly.

Digital copies of the programme are available to download from the Council’s website. Printed copies can also be requested directly from Hednesford Town Council for display in homes, shops and business premises.

The Council welcomes the support of the local community in helping spread the message. However, to ensure public spaces remain safe and tidy, campaign materials must not be attached to street furniture or other public infrastructure.
