Chief Officer

Lindsey Smith

Legal advisor to Council and responsible for the coordination and strategic direction of the Hednesford Town Council. Ensures that decisions of the Council are coordinated, actioned and implemented. Responsible for management of staff team, partnerships, promotion and seeking external funding streams . The role is equivalent to that of a Chief Executive.

Responsible Finance Officer

Cheryl Kinsella

Responsible for overseeing Council finances including AGAR, contracts, assets, insurance, risk management and review and implementation of financial regulations

Community Officer

Matthew Johnson

Responsible for coordinating, developing and expanding the provision of community services across Hednesford, for improving engagement with the community, overseeing the Councils Community Grant scheme and in partnership with the Chief Officer to actively seek external funding opportunities

Pye Green Community Centre Officer

Rachel Gentle

Responsible for the day to day operational management and health and safety of Pye Green Community Centre, overseeing bookings and income generation

Project Support Officer

John Manning

Responsible for the validation, coordination , progression and day to day management of agreed Council projects with particular reference to those that fall under the Community Infrastructure Levy and UK Shared Prosperity Fund

Currently fixed term contract until end of March 2026

Caretaker

Harry Harrison

Responsible for the day to day maintenance and upkeep of Pye Green Community Centre

Facilities Officer

Dawn Richards

Responsible for day to day housekeeping at Pye Green Community Centre

Weekdays and up until 5pm Fridays

Facilities Officer

Responsible for weekend housekeeping at Pye Green Community Centre

from 5pm Fridays and Weekends
