Student Leaders at Kingsmead School made exciting progress with developing their community Youth Council!
They had a visit from Matt Johnson – Community Officer – from Hednesford Town Council, who taught students about democracy, hierarchy and the importance of communication as well as the structure of a council and its roles.
The next step is formalising the Youth Council constitution and electing roles such as Chairperson, Secretary and Pupil Reps – watch this space!
