We are aware of a letter from Tim Clegg regarding CCDC proposed introduction of car parking charges to Hednesford circulating across social media.
Hednesford Town Council are liaising with CCDC and understand that the charges are for long stay bays only (blue) and for the entirety of the railway station carpark. The short stay bays (white) will still be free for up to 4 hours. The time limited free parking along Market Street will also remain.
A formal consultation process has yet to take place. We understand that this is currently with CCDC legal team. As soon as Hednesford Town Council receives any further information then this will be shared.
