Feelgood Friday! It’s always fantastic to see how the Hednesford Town Council Community Support Grant has such a positive impact in our town.
On Wednesday, Russell Dyke, Assistant Senior Leader at Kingsmead School, invited Deputy Chair of Hednesford Town Council, Councillor Ron Turville and Community Officer Matt Johnson, to see how they have been putting their awarded Community Support Grant to good use.
The school have made some significant repairs to the animal pens at the school farm as well as constructing a new shelter for the school’s sheep. The farm is a key element to the school, allowing pupils to have a better understanding of livestock as well as helping to develop associated skills and provide a nurture space.
