TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Staffordshire County Council being the highway authority responsible for the repair and maintenance of Market Street in Cannock are satisfied that it is necessary to
temporarily prohibit traffic in that length of Market Street between its junctions with Victoria Street and Rugeley Road for a period of 1 day but no more than 5 days from 20th April 2026 because of the
likelihood of danger to the public during pruning works being undertaken by Staffordshire Highways.
Access will be available for pedestrians and for vehicles being used in connection with the works (andfor emergency services vehicles or for vehicles requiring access to properties on the length of road
which is closed).
An alternative route for traffic is available via Rugeley Road, Victoria Street.
IT IS ANTICIPATED THAT THE CLOSURE WILL BE IN PLACE BETWEEN 09:30 HOURS ON
20th April 2026 AND 15:30 HOURS ON 20th April 2026.
