Hednesford Town Council’s Community Support Grant is doing great things in the community
Crystal Academy has successfully used their grant to deliver free community classes enabling local children to access dance and physical activity regardless of financial circumstances.
The sessions have been well attended and have helped improve confidence, physical wellbeing and social connections, while also introducing families to positive community opportunities. The funding has allowed Crystal Academy to remove barriers to participation and support children who may otherwise have been unable to engage in regular extracurricular activities.
Chair of Hednesford Town Council, Councillor Ron Turville and Deputy Chair, Councillor Gary Samuels, were invited to see how well the classes were being received on Tuesday and were hugely impressed.
