Every brick tells a story. 
Surrounding the Anglesey Clock Tower, the Miners’ Memorial Bricks stand as a lasting tribute to the miners and families whose contribution helped build Hednesford and its strong community spirit.
To help preserve this special part of our town’s heritage, Hednesford Town Council has used some of our Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) funding to have the bricks professionally cleaned.
Taking pride in our past helps strengthen our future, and we’re delighted to play a part in protecting this important memorial for generations to come.
