At the Annual Town Meeting of Hednesford Town Council held last night, Councillor Ron Turville was elected as Chairperson for the 2026/27 civic year.
Councillor Turville, who represents Pye Green Ward, succeeds outgoing Chairperson Councillor Alan Pearson following a successful 3 years of leadership to the Council and community.
Councillor Garry Samuels was also elected as Deputy Chairperson for the forthcoming civic year.
The Council would like to thank Councillor Pearson for his dedication and leadership during his term of office and wishes Councillors Turville and Samuels every success in their new roles as they continue to support the residents of Hednesford.
